Wednesday, July 1, 2009 Canada Day Celebration - Free Admission -
The Sooke Pipe & Drums led in the parade:

The Dignatires spoke on stage, then handed out free cake


Keith Martin, Judithe Ann Gatto and John Horgan (& Mayor Janet Evans, below) handed out the free Canda Day Cake.

12:00 Noon- Gates Open
1:00 pm Sooke Pipe & Drums, Royal Canadian Legion Br 54 Colour Party, dignitaries, others with all the Territorial and Provincial flags of Canada were paraded in.

Business & demonstration booths ~ Craft Fair
Bingo by the picnic tables for the adults

Food- sample ethnic foods such as Souvlaki, Chili, and favourites such as mini donuts, hamburgers, pizza and more!
" Softies " ice cream, "Smokin Bones Cook Shack" will serve up their award winning meat Pulled Pork Po' Boys and Beef brisket Po'Boys sandwiches.
These are the events from 2008 & 2009 Celebration. We will have many of the same shows for 2010. If you would like to participate, perform or volunteer, contact us!
